Chanel Les Trompe L'Oeil - Review

(Image: vexinthecity)

Since Eid is today and I am not a fan of henna, I still tried my luck with some salons to draw a very simple modern design but daaaaamn were they all fully booked! So instead, I had an idea of trying the Chanel temporary tattoos since I have seen them on the s/s runway of 2010. They really grabed my eyes and I thought they were cute (if used wisely of course). So I made a little research and found a woman who sells them on http://www.souq.com/ and I am guessing http://www.ebay.com/ might also have them. So the price was not bad actually there are many sheets and each sheet contains several designs.

I bought each sheet for around DHS 35. I have bought 3 sheets so a total of 105. Quiet reasonable if you ask me. Anyhow, I have not applied them yet because I am saving them for tomorrow since I am traveling and wanna show them off lol.

Here is a how-to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_ywRnowjK0

However I have posted some beautiful pictures I found from the internet.. Enjoy.....

Another thing I like about this tattoo is that it has been worn by many celebs and you can go from a simple classy look to an extreme crazy look!!

The Louboutin Manicure - Review

(Image: missrichfamous)

Hey guys, sorry it has been a while since I posted anything it's because I was gone away for holidays and now that summer is almost over I am back in the business =D!!

We all love fashion and trends but who said you can't have fashion on your finger tips? The ultimate and super mother of all trends is back! The Louboutin Manicure!! Well I wouldn't say it is new because it has been out few years ago but hey guess what? it's back again!

With the ever growing population of the "reds" a lot of women have been striving for this nail trend.

The trend mimics the louboutin shoes by painting your nails black and the back bright red. My intake on this is that it is a bit dramatic and super cute!! I also find it very classy. If I ever see a girl with it I would truly appreciate the trend because it does take some effort to get it done. I think I will try this myself later even though I know I will create a mess but it is totally worth it. Maybe black would be too much for me so I will try to paint my nails nude instead and have the bottom part bright red I think that would even look sexier!
